Motu-nui Crossbred (Mongrel) & FE Crossbred

Some would say the Motu-nui Mongrel is the sheep definition of hybrid vigour. The Motu-nui Mongrel utilises 4 breeds to produce offspring which outperform any one of the 4 parental breeds.

The Motu-nui Mongrel builds from a Romney base, utilising the reliability that decades of Romney selection provides. East Friesian and Coopworth genetics are thrown in, to help further boost the fertility and maternal ability. Finally, Texel genetics are used to boost the meat production and hardiness.
